Warranty:
We warrant trees to be true to name and in good condition upon leaving our fields. After trees leave our farms we assume no responsibility for growth, productivity, results obtained in transplanting, possible windburn during shipping or damage due to handling by the buyer. All claims must be made immediately upon arrival to destination by telephone and written follow-up within 5 days.Order Early:
Order early to insure prompt delivery. Full loads of either pine or spruce can be shipped soon after the order is received (within 1 - 7 days). Mixed loads may require more time due to weather and logistics. The digging season is 10 months of the year, weather permitting. Digging in June, July, and early August is not recommended. Carlisle Tree Farms will dig off season on an emergency basis, but will not be responsible for results.Size & Packaging:
All trees are graded and machine dug to A.A.N. Specifications unless otherwise noted. Wire basket and burlap included with all trees. Rootball sizes vary from 18" to 48". All loads are tarped.Shipping:
Shipping will be arranged using the least expensive and most reliable common carrier available at the time the trees are ready for delivery. The availability of inexpensive carriers is sometimes limited during the peak of digging season. Call ahead for estimated freight rates.Terms:
Terms are extended only to customers with established credit with Carlisle Tree Farms. All new accounts will be C.O.D. until a credit application is satisfactory completed and approved. All accounts are net 30 days from the date of invoice. If account is not paid in full within 30 days of invoice date, customer will pay a service charge of 1 1/2% per month on all outstanding past due balances. Statements of account are mailed the first of each month. All accounts 45 days from the date of invoice with no payment or special credit arrangement will automatically be transferred to a collection program and will be assessed a fee to cover the cost of this service.
